Hello. Today, I’m going to review the Ibis Styles Ambassador Incheon Airport Hotel, located near Incheon Airport. Operated by Accor, a global hotel group, this hotel might already be familiar to you, especially if you’ve heard of the Ibis brand. From the parking lot to the corridors and guest rooms, you can watch airplanes taking off and landing, with different types of aircraft visible throughout the day. Let me introduce it to you in more detail. 🙂

Ibis Styles Ambassador Incheon Airport Hotel Parking
The Ibis Hotel Incheon Airport sits right next to the long-term parking lot of Terminal 2, so I imagine many guests will be using Terminal 2. However, as far as I know, the hotel runs shuttle buses to both Terminals 1 and 2, so you should have no trouble accessing either terminal. When you arrive at the long-term or reserved parking lot of Terminal 2, you’ll spot an empty building nearby.
The hotel offers plenty of parking both above ground and underground. Hotel guests can park for free during their stay, while visitors to the food and beverage outlets can enjoy three hours of free parking. Since parking demand is high, the hotel also offers package deals that include several days of parking when you stay overnight. 👍 I didn’t use the hotel’s parking package because I drive an electric car and can get a 50% discount at the Incheon Airport parking lot. But if you don’t have a parking discount, it might be worth comparing the options.
Hotel check-in / 1st floor lobby introduction
The space on the ground floor of the Ibis Styles Ambassador Incheon Airport is quite large for an Ibis brand, and as I’ll explain later, the rooms are also quite large for an airport hotel.
In the center of the ground floor is a lounge area with a bar serving coffee, drinks, and alcohol, where you can redeem your welcome drink ticket from your Accor Gold benefits.
To one side is Laquizine, a multi-purpose restaurant with breakfast and dinner buffets, where I asked if I could get 50% off for two with my Accor Plus membership, but was told it had recently been changed to 20%.
The hotel has an E-Mart 24 convenience store for guests, since there aren’t any shops within walking distance without using a shuttle bus or car. It also provides a simple business corner, where you can quickly use a computer or printer if needed. Plus, they occasionally set up events like a Playmobil Photo Zone.
I found a pamphlet promoting the Accor card issued by Woori Bank in Korea. I picked one up and have been using it quite well.
I was able to see the shuttle bus schedule on the big board and it was still running in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. I could see the big buses that are used as shuttle buses constantly moving around.
The hotel has a total of 12 floors, with coin laundry and parking lot on the basement level; lobby, front desk, luggage room, and business corner restaurant on the first floor; banquet hall, gym, and sauna on the second floor; and guest rooms on the third through twelfth floors.
Rooms at ibis Styles Ambassador Incheon Airport Hotel
The ibis Incheon Airport Hotel opened in December 2022, just two years ago. It’s less than two years old, so the interior had a fairly clean, new construction feel to it. As expected of a hotel near Incheon Airport, the room numbers had airplane markings.
I stayed in a Superior Suite with a double bed, upgraded from a Superior Room thanks to my Accor Gold membership. The 10-pyeong (about 33㎡) room featured a small sofa, a work desk, and a dining table. Thanks to the parquet flooring and open layout, the space felt comfortable and airy. However, I was slightly disappointed that the bedroom and living area weren’t separated, despite it being a suite.
The front of the room was open to the parking lot view, so it was nice to have a large window, and the windows were open for natural ventilation.
I like to watch airplanes, so when I checked in, I asked for a room with a good view of the plane, and the view is a reserved/long-term parking lot view. I had a really good view of the airplane taking off because it was all glass, but I think I can’t control the noise when it takes off because it’s very loud, so they provide earplugs for free on the first floor.
The room was well-equipped with slippers (not disposable), a safe, a coat rack, an electric kettle, cups, cutlery, bottled water, and a refrigerator.
The bathroom separates the toilet and sink, making it more comfortable to use. However, it doesn’t have a bathtub, and the towels and other amenities feel thinner compared to those at higher-end hotels. Since the hotel follows a disposable item policy, it doesn’t provide a toothbrush or toothpaste, so I recommend bringing your own.
There is a welcome drink menu, but the ticket I received said only Americano, so I received two cups of Americano as takeout.
Hotel Amenities
Hotel facilities include a sauna, a gym where you can work out, and a coin-operated laundry. You can soak away the day’s fatigue in the sauna and wash your clothes in the laundry machine, which is great for longer stays.
Overall review
This is my review of my 2-night stay at the Ibis Styles Ambassador Incheon Airport. I would recommend this hotel as a hotel near Incheon Airport because it’s new, clean, and you can see airplanes taking off from the hotel all day long. However, the downside is that there is nothing really around and there is some noise from the airplanes taking off.
