hello. Today, I’m going to review the Swissôtel Grand Shanghai, a 5-star hotel in Shanghai. I think there are many people who visit Shanghai after getting a visa for Korean tourists to China, and I was planning a trip to Shanghai in April, and I was very worried about where to go. I thought it would be a good idea to go to a five-star hotel from a well-known brand chain, so I chose the Swissôtel Grand Shanghai, which I will introduce in detail.

First, a quick introduction to the Swissôtel brand is in order. It is a hotel brand in the premium line of Accor (All), the company that operates the hotel brands you know such as Ibis, Novotel and Mercure. We have an Accor affiliate card in Korea, and I think there are many people who like Accor and use it a lot, so it can be said that it is quite recognized in Korea.

However, there are no Swissôtel brand hotels in Korea, so many people may not be familiar with it. About Swissôtel Grand Shanghai Hotel

The Swissôtel Grand Shanghai is a 5-star luxury hotel located in the Jing’an district, the heart of Shanghai, China. The hotel is conveniently located near several large shopping malls such as City Plaza, Réel, Jing’an Kerry Center, and Plaza 66, and is close to attractions such as Jing’an Temple, Jing’an Park, Shanghai Grand Theater, and Shanghai Museum.

As you’d expect from a 5-star hotel, there are plenty of facilities on offer, including a swimming pool and fitness center👍 The heated indoor pool is 20 meters long and has a children’s pool, while the fitness center offers the latest exercise equipment and wellness programs. The spa and sauna is located on the 5th floor and includes a private jacuzzi.

The hotel features two restaurants and a bar. At Café Swiss, you can enjoy an international buffet and à la carte menu. The Flow Lounge & Bar offers afternoon tea, cocktails, wine, and more.

Overall review

There are many hotels in Shanghai, but I chose the Swissôtel Grand Shanghai because it is a premium line hotel under the Accor family, so I could experience a hotel that does not exist in Korea, and I was attracted to its convenient transportation, optimal location, luxurious rooms, convenient facilities, and various culinary experiences👍 I will give you a more detailed review on my “Shanghai trip” in April.
