The hotel offers facilities and services optimized for both business and leisure travelers, and its excellent location provides convenient access to Hong Kong’s major attractions and airports. One of the most important aspects of traveling for me is the hotel, and since JW Marriott is the top luxury brand in the Marriott family, I knew I could trust and be satisfied with my stay. JW Marriott Hong Kong opened its doors on February 27, 1989, and since then, the hotel has built a reputation for excellence, winning numerous awards. With a total of 608 stylish guestrooms and a wide range of facilities, the hotel is located in the heart of Hong Kong Island at Pacific Place. Pacific Place is a commercial, shopping and entertainment complex, with direct access to Admiralty MTR station with Line 4 connections, and a variety of fine restaurants and shopping malls nearby, making it a great location👍.
When you arrive at the hotel, you’ll first be greeted by a stunning lobby with panoramic city views👍 It’s a JW Marriott, which is the top luxury brand among Marriott hotels, so you can expect a very upscale and sophisticated feel throughout. There’s also a restaurant and cafe called The Lounge, where you can have a meal or tea while enjoying the stunning city views.
Rooms at JW Marriott Hong Kong
JW Marriott Hong Kong is a large hotel with 581 standard rooms and 27 suites. There are a variety of room types, with standard rooms categorized by view: city view, partial harbor view, and harbor view. I recommend getting a harbor view room if you can, as you’ll get a great ocean view from your room. All rooms are equipped with luxurious bedding and JBL audio systems, and come with free Wi-Fi, a Nespresso machine, TWG tea bags, and a variety of pillow options to ensure a comfortable stay.
As you’d expect from a five-star hotel, they also have a great club lounge. Access to the Club Lounge is available if you book an executive or suite, or if you’re a Platinum level or above at a Marriott property. Aside from the views, the hotel’s rooms are also quite spacious, with even the standard rooms offering 348-395 sqft of space, which is quite large compared to the average Hong Kong hotel size👍.

Hotel Wellness Facilities
JW Marriott Hong Kong’s wellness facilities offer a range of options to help you stay healthy and energized while traveling. For starters, our 24-hour fitness center is equipped with the latest Life Fitness® equipment and offers a variety of workout machines, including treadmills, ellipticals, weight machines, and free weights. There’s also a sauna and steam room, as well as spacious locker rooms, so you can relax after your workout.
We’re also a city center hotel, but we also have an outdoor pool👍 The outdoor pool is open from 6am to 10pm, and along with the heated pool, we also have a Whirlpool. The pool is surrounded by lush greenery, so you’ll be able to enjoy a bit of nature in the middle of the city. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit when staying at this hotel.
Hotel Restaurants
JW Marriott Hong Kong has a total of seven restaurants and bars, offering a variety of culinary experiences. Most notably, Man Ho Chinese Restaurant is a Michelin-starred restaurant specializing in Cantonese cuisine, serving authentic dim sum and Chinese dishes made with fresh ingredients. Private dining rooms are also available, perfect for events and gatherings.
Other dining options include JW Café, where you can enjoy a hearty buffet; Flint, serving grilled dishes and modern classics; and Fish Bar, serving fresh seafood. The Lounge serves elegant afternoon tea and weekend champagne brunches, while Dolce 88 offers decadent desserts and coffee. There’s a restaurant to suit almost every need, so you’re sure to find something to suit your taste👍.
